Within the framework of the cooperation program with the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), The League of Arab States – The Crisis Monitoring Department organizes the third theoretical training for its Peace Keeping Task Force at the Conrad Hotel in Cairo during the period 7-18 April 2019.
The training program focuses on the scope of mandates and activities of peace keeping missions as well as identifying the different mechanisms for Disarmament, Demobilization and Re-integration and the PKO efforts in the areas of Protection of Civilians and Humanitarian Assistance.
This round of training comes within a series of training courses designed for the League's Peace Keeping Task Force with the aim of institutional capacity building of the League of Arab States' Field Missions and training of the individuals to support and participate in peace operations in the Arab region.
