League welcomes agreement between Yemen parties on economic de-escalation

Gamal Roshdy, the spokesman for the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, welcomed the announcement by the Office of the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for Yemen on an agreement between the Yemeni government and the Houthis regarding measures to de-escalate tensions in the banking sector and Yemeni Airlines.

Model Arab Youth Parliament 2024

​The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (Social Affairs Sector, Youth and Sports Department, Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers) organised the third edition of the Model Arab Youth Parliament for 2024 under the title “Towards Sustainable Community Participation.” The simulation model was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Arab Republic of Egypt, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports and head of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports.

General Secretariat organises introductory training programme for Saudi Foreign Ministry delegation

​The Administrative and Financial Affairs Sector (Training and Work Methods Development Department) organised an introductory training programme on the activities of the League of Arab States for a delegation of diplomats from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
