he 114th session of the Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries is taking place from 7 to 11 December with the participation of delegations from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Syrian Arab Republic, the State of Palestine, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Lebanese Republic, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO), the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
The conference addresses the pressing developments confronting the Palestinian cause, with particular focus on the situation of Palestinian refugees and the grave challenges facing UNRWA amid ongoing Israeli targeting. It also examines the agency’s severe financial crisis, stemming from a $200 million deficit. Additionally, the conference is discussing issues pertaining to Jerusalem, the Intifada, Israeli settlements, the separation wall, and broader development concerns.
