The source also confirmed that the memorandum of understanding also aims to consolidate the means of cooperation between the Anna Lindh Foundation and the General Secretariat in all areas of common interest, including the development and implementation of joint strategies and intensify their joint efforts to promote the concept of global citizenship, support cultural dialogue and civilization, and spread the values of tolerance and coexistence. Promoting a culture of sustainable peace and addressing the phenomena of terrorism, extremism, intolerance and racial discrimination.
The source said that the memorandum includes the organization of a number of conferences, forums, workshops and joint dialogue meetings, and the coordination of regular and mutual visits between officials of the two organizations in order to consult and exchange views on topics of common interest which are organized by each party.
