The League of Arab States' field mission has concluded its monitoring of the first phase of the House of Representatives' elections in the Arab Republic of Egypt, held on 10-11 November.
During this phase, the mission was deployed to numerous polling stations across various governorates, where observers noted that the electoral process was well organised.
The mission also observed the strict security measures implemented by the security forces responsible for safeguarding the polling centres, which contributed to maintaining a safe environment throughout the elections.
The mission will continue its work by monitoring the second phase of the elections, scheduled for 24-25 November, and will issue a preliminary statement presenting its initial observations on the entire electoral process following the announcement of the preliminary results.
