Mr Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States (LAS), condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation authorities' forcible deportation of human rights lawyer, activist and Jerusalemite prisoner Salah Hammouri to France.
In this regard, he stressed that the deportation policy violates international law and represents a flagrant violation of human rights.
The spokesman of the Arab League's Secretary-General, Jamal Rushdie, affirmed that while Aboul Gheit warns against the consequences of tolerance with the possibility of Israel’s insistence to pursue such an immoral policy in dealing with the Palestinians, he appeals to the international community to take a strong and unified position against these measures that violate international law and flout the principles of human rights.
