H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States,

participated in the 7th Regional Forum of the Union for the Mediterranean

(UFM), which was held under the joint chairmanship of the High
Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy

and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom

of Jordan, and hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain. (More...)

League of Arab States participates in the 9th UNAOC

Global Forum

The League of Arab States, represented by a delegation headed by Assistant
Secretary-General for International Political Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Khalid

bin Mohammad Al-Manzalawi, participated in the 9th Forum of the United

Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), in Fez, Kingdom of Morocco,

under the theme "Towards an alliance for peace: Living Together as One

Humanity". In his speech, the Ambassador emphasised the importance of
hard work to spread the culture of peace to establish the values of tolerance
