Ambassador Amna Bou Ayyash, President of the National Council for Human Rights in the Kingdom of Morocco, received Counsellor Jaber Al-Marri, the Chairman of the Arab Human Rights Committee (Charter Committee) at the National Council's headquarters in Rabat on 22 February 2023.
The meeting revolved around the exchange of perspectives pertaining to the pivotal function fulfilled by domestic human rights institutions in stimulating nations to ratify global human rights covenants. The high-level officials acknowledged the invaluable contributions of such institutions in enriching the regional and international milieu of human rights, while simultaneously engaging in activities at the national level.
The Chairman of the Charter Committee conveyed his congratulations to the President of the National Council in the Kingdom of Morocco for the favourable culmination of the Rabat International Forum for Human Rights, and lauded the substance of its conclusive dossier.
