The Secretary-General extended his sincere condolences to the family of Ambassador Jamali, the Tunisian State and the Tunisian diplomatic community for the enormous loss, calling on God almighty to bestow him with his mercy and inspire his family with patience and solace.
Aboul Gheit said that during his extended service, El-Gamali has made an outstanding effort in the field of Tunisian and Arab diplomacy and has made an appreciated contribution to in support of Arab issues and in support of Joint Arab Action, adding, Al-Jamali has also been committed since his appointment as Special Representative of the Secretary-General to Libya in 2016 to support the Libyan people and stand by them and work wholeheartedly to resolve the Libyan crisis and get this dear country out of conflict and political blockage that it was passing through.
