Coordination between governments and civil society to put priority issues on the international agenda, especially in the social, economic and environmental fields.
Working with governments to develop high-level mechanisms for civil society organizations, developing programs and work plans with them, and working to implement them.
Developing the tasks of the Civil Society Organizations Committee to lay out frameworks for civil society participation, and to consider the listed criteria for this participation, and updating the status in the Economic and Social Council in accordance with scientific and technical standards, as is the case with international and regional organizations.
