Our Common Agenda urges stronger global
frameworks to achieve universal social protection coverage (in line with
SDG 1.3), build resilience to shocks and disasters (SDG 1.5), and for
financial support for developing States (SDG 1.a). These recommendations
are being taken forward under the Global Accelerator for Jobs and
Social Protection for a Just Transition in support of SDG 1. The World
Social Summit in 2025 is an opportunity to strengthen cooperation on
these and other measures to achieve this goal.
