  • The comprehensive collection and full processing of the documents of the League of Arab States, in particular the documents of the summits, the Council of the League, the specialized ministerial councils and the standing committees, as well as the basic documents of the specialized Arab organizations. The technical treatment of various types of office materials and their various collections from their Arab and international sources, and the preparation of bibliographic and non-bibliographic databases. Document the heritage of the Arab League and make it available in digital format. The establishment of relational databases for all information vessels acquired in the library of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States (resolutions, books and periodicals, photographs, films and tapes, manuscripts and rare books ...).

    Availability of data and information to beneficiaries according to their interests and requests by providing direct search services with databases prepared by the Center.

    Preparation of bibliographic control lists in the three languages ​​(Arabic, English and French) with a view to standardizing the use of names of countries, bodies, organizations and authors in bibliographic descriptions.

    Establishing an electronic library that serves the beneficiaries from within and outside the Secretariat, and engaging in digital projects of regional and international organizations.

    Translation of all outputs of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in all categories (resolutions, reports, studies, media publications, .....) into English and French.

    Assist in the interpretation of meetings and interviews held within the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
